Dreamhouse's self-titled debut is a vibrant piece of dance that the majority of club-hoppers will undoubtedly love. Alternating between reggae-inflected originals and '90s dance remakes of '60s pop standards, Dreamhouse appears to have all the ingredients for mass dance chart success. Renowned dance mixer/band member David Riley's Jamaican roots can be detected in his rap for the leadoff single "Stay" (a huge '60s hit for Maurice Williams), as well as covers of the Four Seasons' "Sherry," the Four Tops' "Baby, I Need Your Lovin'," and the Grass Roots' "Let's Live for Today." But as already mentioned, Dreamhouse is not merely a cover band, proven by the enjoyable original tracks as "Just as Long as I Have You," "Forever," and "Hay Que Linda."
