Details
[Edit]Journey of the Deep Sea Dweller III followed the second volume by a half-year or so and continued the Clone label's caring re-circulation of James Stinson and Gerald Donald's collaborative work. Once again, the tracks are pulled from numerous releases — seven, in this case — and are not sequenced chronologically. The essentials here, including "Aqua Worm Hole," "Intensified Magnetron," and "Red Hills of Lardossa," showcase the duo's prettiest, most abrasive, and most expansive work. There are two previously unreleased tracks, including the playful vocal cut "Flying Fish," which sounds like it was made later in the duo's partnership. Like the other volumes, this was issued in the digital download, double vinyl, and compact disc formats, with the latter housed in digibook packaging more common to DVDs, like Clone's Anthony Shakir and Kenny Larkin anthologies.
