Putting aside the cover album Taj e Taraneh (Crown of Song), Tolou Kon (Rise) is the second main album of Ebi after the groundbreaking Setarehaye Sorbi (Leaden Stars). While Ebi has worked with two of the most famous composers he used to work with back in the years when he was living in Iran, Tolou Kon is not a representative album of Ebi's music. The album is comprised of six songs, three of which are composed by Esfandiar Monfared Zadeh, who is best known for songs he wrote for Farhad, and the rest are works of Farid Zoland. Tolou Kon is a rather political album — and this theme is more clear in the first half of it. Ebi has continued working with lyricists Iradj Jannati Ataee, Aradalan Sarafraz, and Shahriar Ghanbari in Tolou Kon, like most of his albums, but failed to put a consistent feel to the album. The album partly has a similar feel to Setareyeh Donbaleh Dar (The Comet). Surely, "I Look at You" (To Ra Negah Mikonam), with lyrics by Ardalan Sarafraz and music by Farid Zoland, is the best demonstrative piece for Ebi's long-ranged voice among other five.
