Details
[Edit]This second 2011 album by the veteran sevillana group is very different from the group's religious concept album Dios Te Salve, Señora, released early in the year. Here, Ecos del Rocio deal with topical or contemporary subject matter, including a response to their critics and a tale of drug addiction, all performed and sung with their customary gallantry. Perhaps the standout track from this collection of rumbas and sevillanas is "Las Campanas del Planeta," a tribute to women through all the stages of life. Musical direction and arrangements are by Juan Acuña.
