[Edit]In the 1950s, actor Lalo Gonzales created the character of El Piporro while appearing on a popular Mexican radio show, and his portrayal of the wanderer who sang witty songs made such an impression on listeners that Gonzalez and El Piporro became inseparable in the public eye. El Piporro enjoyed a long and successful recording career, and this album features 20 of his best and best-known songs.
