[Edit]Element 101 have a couple of good things going for them: for one, a special songwriting craft that's equally energetic and mature. For another, they have the crisp vocal leads of Crissie Verhagen, who shines with a sincere presence that can also capture your attention with ease. Stereo Girl has a number of pop elements (get it?!) that provide a crunchy punk sound without incorporating any emo breakdowns or Weezer-esque synthesizers. In other words, Element aren't doing anything fancy to appeal to the kids who buy what's popular; they just want to rock out with their own style.
