Details
[Edit]Emílio Santiago is an excellent interpreter in swinging sambas and also in romantic tunes. This album is almost completely sung in Spanish, and the repertory is 100% romantic. His fans will be delighted with his tender and deep baritone voice and the excellent choice of repertory ("Anos dourados," "Drume negrita," "El reloj," "Saigon," etc.), but the album suffers from excessively bureaucratic drum machines/cheesy keyboarding. The exception is "Piensa en mi," where the boring plastic sounds are substituted by a sensitive piano introduction and a proper bolero percussion follow-up.
