[Edit]"Letters to You" and "Perfection Through Silence" are the obvious bomb tracks on Falling into Place, Finch's rousing Drive-Thru debut. Both songs teem with an energy that helps posit the band cleverly between post-hardcore noise and pop-punk accessibility. "Where do you run to?" croons Nate Barcalow in the bridge of "Letters to You." It's your basic emo-influenced diary entry. However, Barcalow's heart-in-mouth vocals are accompanied by jarring, staccato guitars and another guy screaming his head off in the background. Straddling the line that separates the sappy from the scabrous isn't new, either, especially on Drive-Thru, whose entire roster seems to thrive on that dichotomy. But Finch rocks the familiar well enough to be real on Falling into Place, and that makes their debut much more than just a one-night stand.
