Details
[Edit]This 14-track compilation covers French singer/songwriter Frances Cabrel's first ten years as a solo artist. It includes his redone version of "Petite Marie," the song which won him the Radio Sud competition — the original drew his ire because CBS messed with the tonality in his voice in post production — and eventually got him his record deal. Also included here are the lovely "Je L'aime a Mourir," "Je Pense Encore a Toi," and "Question d'Equilibre." In all, this compilation is representative of that heady first decade of his career, even if it does not include "Ma Ville," a small complaint.
