Francis Hime's second album of the '70s, released four years after the first, finds the basic character of his music unchanged, despite a vastly different lineup. The biggest additions are lyrics and help on vocals from Chico Buarque and Francis' wife, Olivia Hime. The production and arrangements come from Guto Graça Mello and Francis Hime himself. The pair emulates the reflective mood of 1973's Francis Hime, replete with flute and other woodwinds as well as a bit more piano than before. Hime wrote four songs with Chico Buarque (their song of ten years earlier, "Atrás da Porta," had launched Hime's career) as well as one with Vinícius de Moraes. Although the songs stand out from a lyrical perspective, the music and Hime's performances make it a slight step down from his excellent debut.
