Details
[Edit]With four albums under his belt, and a bevy of successful singles, J-Rock singer Gackt released The Sixth Day in 2004, collecting all of his singles released to that point into a single compilation. The range of time covered is relatively short, but there's a sense of musical development in the course of the compilation, as Gackt himself developed from a support singer and a solo star to a singer and writer exploring other musical influences, to the first major Japanese artist to embrace modern sales by making their works available digitally. The rock elements strengthen as time goes on in Gackt's career, and Sixth Day shows the progression fairly clearly.
