[Edit]The relationship between Ravi Shankar and George Harrison is well-documented and at least partly responsible for the latter's spiritual inclinations and the rock audience's acceptance of Indian music. That relationship is examined on Collaborations, a collection of three of Shankar's albums which Harrison produced and, in some cases, performed on. Also included in the collection is extraordinary video footage from a 1974 Royal Albert Hall performance. Collaborations comes with iTunes LP which features extensive liner notes, a 56-page digital booklet with a forward by Philip Glass, more than 50 photos, video footage, and more.
