One of Jones's best Epic albums, it succeeds despite two previously released songs being tagged on to fill it out. One of those is "Radio Lover," a bizarre cheating tale. Things get even stranger with "Ya Ba Da Ba Do (So Are You)," in which Jones gets drunk and talks to a Fred Flintstone glass and an Elvis Presley wine decanter (it also sparked legal action by Hanna-Barbera.) Beyond that, it's quality Jones honky-tonk and weepers, including a first-rate remake of "Just out of Reach (Of My Two Empty Arms)."
