Details
[Edit]The haunting soundtrack to author Stephen King’s supernatural musical Ghost Brothers of Darkland County collects songs written by famed heartland rocker John Mellencamp, featuring rural melodies with twangy guitars and fiddles. The performers include a who’s who of luminaries such as Elvis Costello, Kris Kristofferson, and Sheryl Crow, and the whole package was produced by award-winning roots-rock mastermind T-Bone Burnett (whose curatory talent includes the soundtrack to O Brother, Where Art Thou? and The Big Lebowski). The soundtrack also incorporates spoken dialogue from the production, evoking the spooky atmosphere of an old-time radio drama.
