Gillie Da Kid, member of the Major Figgas, one-time ghostwriter for Cash Money, and very public adversary of Lil Wayne (with numerous diss tracks pointed his way) has been burning up the streets of Philly for a while now with his mixtapes. Babygrande did the honors of helping release some of his greatest tracks to the greater general public with The Best of the GDK Mixtapes, which features cuts from each of the Major Figgas. It's hard-edged and often violent, but there are some pretty decent songs here ("Figga Wat, Figga Who," "Murder Murder Kill Kill Homicide," "Ghetto That I Live In"), making the album a nice addition to any hardcore rap fan's collection.
