Details
[Edit]Recorded at Detroit's Fox Theatre, these rockers hit the ground running with “Straight Outta Line” from 2003’s Faceless, as Robbie Merrill blasts notes from his deep, rumbling bass. The crowd gets worked into a fanatic frenzy upon hearing the first few recognizable notes from “Awake,” before astronaut-landing samples introduce the hard-chugging “Moon Baby.” The band’s awesome selection of encore cover songs is worth the price of admission alone. Godsmack reinvents Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way” with steroidal distortion, though the band's brutal rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Time” trumps all.
