[Edit]Golden Millennium imported an era of '70s glam before they became a parodied entourage of image-conscious celebrities. The debut from this Austin four-piece creates a musical setting of rock & roll when it was raw and full of glitter. Included here are four songs that suggest the New York Dolls and Slade, with an additional lead of snotty vocals. Finishing things off with the David Bowie cover "Suffragette City," Golden Millennium successfully re-capture the vintage of New York punk without ridiculously glorifying the clichéd lyrical stance of sex and drugs.
