[Edit]Punk guitar icon Greg Ginn explores other sides of his musical personality on this album from his group the Taylor Texas Corrugators. Released in 2014, Gumbo and Holy Water features 12 jam band-style performances in which Ginn (on guitar, bass, and keyboards) collaborates with guitarist Gary Piazza and drummer Dominic Feedam as they explore psychedelia, classic rock, jazz, and blues. These instrumental performances are are quite different from Ginn's best-known work with Black Flag, but longtime fans will hear a musical link between this material and the instrumental material on Black Flag's The Process of Weeding Out and Family Man.
