Though Guy Lombardo's primary recording affiliation was with Decca Records, he took a sojourn over to RCA Victor between 1936 and 1938. This compilation, first released on RCA's budget-priced Camden subsidiary in 1965 and reissued on budget label Pickwick in 1977, draws from that period, including the number one hit "Boo-Hoo" and the Top Ten hits "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon" and "The Way You Look Tonight," as well as Lombardo treatments of such standards of the era as "Whistle While You Work" and "Summertime." It is by no means a comprehensive survey of even those two and a half years in Lombardo's career, but it does contain a few of his more enjoyable songs from a time when he was at a commercial peak.
