[Edit]Pianist Mike Hatchard and bassist Herbie Flowers perform a set of familiar standards on this pleasing if unadventurous set. Hatchard has a nice light melodic and safe style on piano, swinging without taking any overt chances. Flowers is fine in support and the pair work together quite well. Nothing unexpected takes place, but the results are enjoyable enough as Hatchard and Flowers play some of their favorite songs in a lightly swinging fashion.
