Details
[Edit]Fun and Games is a charged and energetic collection of punk-pop nuggets held together by a common theme: Christianity. It isn't preachy, but instead it takes the unique viewpoint of a Christian punk, looking at typical punk rock themes through the eyes of someone with a faith in Jesus. Which means that instead of beating on the brat, they simply show disdain toward her ("She's a Brat.") Their approach is pure Ramones, pumping out three-chord anthems with a vengeance and essentially writing the Christian alternative to Rocket to Russia. And this is fine, because they have the talent to write some memorable hooks and the good sense to take a naïve, wide-eyed approach to their subject matter. Without being overbearing, the Huntingtons wrote a winner with the aptly titled Fun and Games.
