[Edit]Outpost is an eclectic blend of two diverse talents and styles. It combines the cutting edge personae of Robert Rich and Ian Boddy. Rich is known primarily for his dark ambience and his willingness to push the envelope to the limit. Boddy is one of Europe's foremost electronic musicians with a reputation for pushing the limits of the Berlin school. Together, they have crafted a monumental soundscape of experimental e-music that borders on the avant-garde. The structure does, however, keep the atmospheres from crossing into the lost world. Boddy and Rich take listeners to the farthest outposts of the universe. Return trips are optional. This CD is a unique effort. The only valid comparisons are from the artists' individual discographies.
