[Edit]While the majority of Meridian walks the consistently blurry line between deep house and Detroit techno, the album moves farther afield with the earthy breakbeat track "What's Your Number?," and disco-funk on "Followed, " and even quasi-post-rock for "Disco Love." Of the more straight-ahead tracks, "Cold Wait" and the serene beauty of "Flatlet" make for two highlights.
