[Edit]With the Destroyer EP, Inter Arma deliver a rawer, more formative take on the patient, genre-bending metal that would eventually appear on their Relapse debut, Sky Burial. Hearing tracks like "Destroyer" and "The Long Road Home" in a more elemental state, there's a very definite feeling that Inter Arma have a sound that they're moving toward, and little things like genre conventions aren't going to stand in their way. Definitely a worthy listen for fans of the band, or mind-expanding psychedelic doom in general.
