[Edit]Trombonist Jack Teagarden revisits a dozen songs he had recorded previously for this Capitol LP. His trombone solos and vocals are consistently excellent although the arrangements for the larger groups by Van Alexander do not leave any room for the interplay found in New Orleans and Chicago jazz. Teagarden is virtually the whole show but fortunately he is in fine form.
