[Edit]Ten songs from Jackson C. Frank's legendary (and rare) self-titled mid-'60s album, including "Blues Run the Game," "Here Come the Blues," "Milk and Honey," and "You Never Wanted Me," as well as five previously unreleased tracks from 1975. The '60s tracks are perhaps not as stunning as some have been led to believe, sounding a bit naive and dated, but at their best have an appealingly moody, troubadour feel. The songs from the '70s, also performed solo on acoustic guitar, are surprisingly worthwhile; similar in quality to the ones from the previous decade, they're very much of a piece with his '60s work.
