[Edit]Carrying the science-fiction theme of 4 Hero's Parallel Universe over to their Jacob's Optical Stairway side-project, Dego and Mark Mac crafted an album of understated breakbeats with high strings and synthwork, in addition to vocals by an R&B-inspired diva (Samantha Powell). The duo also enlisted Detroit hero Juan Atkins and new electronica stalwart Josh Wink to work on two tracks: "The Fusion Formula" and "The Naphosisous Wars," respectively.
