[Edit]A surprisingly varied collection of new-school electro-funk. Unlike his earlier Clear EP, Bantha Trax (under the name Tusken Raiders), Paradinas' Slazenger sound is sparser, with funky machine breaks and goofy synth melodies dominating. Material splits pretty cleanly between dancefloor fare and more armchair-oriented tunes, and its the latter direction, not surprisingly, that proves most interesting. "Megaphonk," "Flod," and the live-sounding "Bolus" are the best of these, charting new directions in electro where others are in rehash mode.
