[Edit]Jeff Greinke recorded Over Ruins in 1984 and Moving Climates in 1986. Projekt packaged them together for a reissue in 2000. This is where Greinke's penchant for dark minimalism took root and began to grow. His attraction to natural sounds gives this soundscape collection an organic texture, so the darkness and the organics clash and conjoin. The eerie experimental sounds dominate the sound world and carry the satanic atmospheres to new levels. Greinke's minimalism, while unique, compares favorably to Lustmord, Alio Die, Mathias Grassow, Pete Namlook, and Andrea Marutti (Never Known and Amon). Because of its historical perspective, this CD is essential to all e-music collectors.
