[Edit]Led by the title song, a hit on gospel radio in 2012, Greater Is Coming is more polished and mature than the 2010 EP God Has a Promise Over Your Life. Despite Carr's continued development, the teenaged singer appeals to those of her generation with the pleading "Young People's Cry," as well as solid crossover/contemporary material like "I'm on the Rise," "Overcomers," and "Keeping Ourselves." As strong as this is, it's evident that her best is in her future.
