A nice selection of American tunes performed in piano and violin duets by violinist Jenny Oaks Baker and pianist Jenny (Naylor) Richards. Fifteen tracks are featured, from the rousing opener, "Hoedown," through the sacred "Come, Come, Ye Saints," to the closing trio of songs from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story. As one can expect from Baker, the musicianship is excellent, with Richards a perfect match on piano. Veteran Salt Lake Valley producer Kenny Hodges produced this album with very pleasing results. Considered a pick as it shows Baker's incredible range of musical styles. A must for fans of classical, Broadway, the violin, and piano. ~ Dacia A. Blodgett-Williams, Rovi
