Details
[Edit]Like the soundtrack to the Torgue expansion, the background music for Borderlands 2: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty feels tailor-made for its setting. Like the sprawling desert where the DLC takes place, the music is exotic and unforgiving, creating an air of mystery for the players as they hunt down the legendary lost treasure of Captain Blade. If the good folks at Gearbox have proven anything with Borderlands 2, it's that they're a company that knows how to build a setting from the ground up, and while this mostly comes through in the visuals, their attention to detail with the music is one of the many reasons the game has been such a success.
