Details
[Edit]A formative figure on the British jazz scene of the 1950s, trumpeter Jimmy Deuchar made his biggest mark recording for the Tempo label from the mid- to late '50s. This two-disc collection brings together all of Deuchar's recordings for the label. This is swinging, articulate jazz that finds Deuchar touching upon standards, as well as compositions by such jazz legends as Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, and Miles Davis.
