Details
[Edit]In his 19th album, João Bosco elected as the only lyricist his own son Francisco Bosco. The album has memories of Arabia, the land of Bosco's ancestors. Sitars and Arab scales/vocalizes, together with an ocean of different influences, from Baudelaire to surrealism, melt in Brazilian sambas. The lyrics don't help in the pretentious moments. A good melodic theme can be found in the bossa "Arpoadora," but in general the interest (and only salvation) for the album resides in Bosco's inspired renditions.
