[Edit]A cult figure in garage rock, Carrasco's groups mixed Anglos and tejanos and blended a basic rock & roll that this classic 1979 set's notes aptly call "Tex-Mex teen toons" with banda overtones. The results may seem strange if you don't know Steve Jordan or the young Tejas bandas (or, in all honesty, even if you do).
