[Edit]The sheer awfulness of the Lindsay Lohan psychodrama I Know Who Killed Me effectively blots out composer Joel McNeely's score, which taken on its own terms isn't so bad after all. McNeely's minimalist piano melodies are suitably creepy, eventually expanding to embrace moody electronic textures, shrieking strings, and wordless vocals — nothing exactly new, of course, but the execution is precise, and a series of thoughtful post-production flourishes further bolsters the music's sense of malice and dread. It will be interesting to see what McNeely might accomplish given a watchable film to score.
