[Edit]After achieving his commercial breakthrough with 2003's Truthfully Truthfully, Joel Plaskett left Canada and temporarily resettled in Arizona, where he recorded this follow-up effort with help from Ian McGettigan and Jon Rauhouse. La De Da is essentially a solo album, though, featuring a track list that ranges from intimate folk ballads to lush, laid-back roots rock.
