[Edit]From the Sky is the third and strongest release yet by this piano player from Oregon whose appealing Winston-esque style has been gaining him an increasing following over the last couple of years. From the Sky introduces synthesizer to provide background coloring to his melodic playing, while Nancy Rumbel contributes her talents on English horn, ocarina, and oboe. David Friesen plays his "Oregon bass" on most cuts, and Eric Tingstad adds guitar on one track, providing a full ensemble sound to complement the piano.
