[Edit]Johnny Copeland's patented "Texas twister" style isn't as flamboyant or forceful on this 10-cut CD as on past occasions (at least instrumentally), but his vocals were in fairly good shape. Copeland was at his best on tunes where the emphasis was on style rather than lyric meaning and elaboration...The album doesn't cook or boil like Copeland's regional singles; instead, it simmers...
