[Edit]Two of Johnny Tillotson's MGM albums from the mid-'60s are collected on this import disc, and both feature the typical assortment of covers from a variety of fields, especially pop versions of country hits. Tillotson's take on "The Race Is On" is especially nice, although he ably tackles "Heartaches By the Numbers," "Oh, Lonesome Me," and "Busted," among others. Several songs here were written or co-written by Tillotson, the best being "Your Mem'ry Comes Along." Although Ace's You're the Reason best-of collection is the place to go for a definitive overview of Tillotson's MGM material, there isn't too much overlap between this two-fer and that anthology, which makes this a good addition for those who can't get enough Johnny Tillotson.
