[Edit]Posies vocalist/guitarist Jon Auer plays all instruments on this five-song EP, with the exception of drums on two songs. The ceaselessly melodic title track, featuring inescapable hooks and unrelenting guitars, will drive power pop fans mad with ecstasy. Auer's guitar work on "Pretty Picture" is unexpectedly reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine's Loveless album, but despite its meandering, the song still retains its structure. His brilliant cover of the Guided By Voices track "Gold Star for Robot Boy" molds a great minute-and-a-half burst of raw, tuneful energy into a more complete and satisfying song.
