[Edit]Given the fairly staggering number of records Jon Langford has produced over the decades, it's a surprise to realize that Skull Orchard is his first true solo effort; a smart, stripped-down collection of tuneful rockers that bitterly reflect on the state of his native Wales, it's a worthy addition to the Mekons/Waco Brothers legacy.
