Repping for Memphis, Juicy J is a rapper/producer and founding member of Three 6 Mafia. Since debuting in the early '90s, he's grown from a regional favorite to an international superstar, releasing a gang of classic albums, several gigantic hit singles, independent movies, and three different reality shows. He's even won an Academy Award (for "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from Hustle and Flow). And he's done all this while strictly adhering to his signature style of super-hardcore hip-hop: built strictly on glutenous bass lines, skittering hi-hats, minor-key synths, and excessive chanting, all topped with rhymes exclusively about hustling, strippers, partying, and destroying any and all haters. Stay Trippy is his third solo album (following Chronicles of the Juice Man and Hustle Till I Die). Though he's recently distanced himself from Three 6 and signed with Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records, his overall sound thankfully remains the sameā€”full of the rowdy debauchery he does best. Check out the platinum single "Bandz a Make Her Dance" (with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz) and "Show Out" (featuring Young Jeezy and Big Sean).
