[Edit]Mexican indie rock band Jumbo returned to the studio for this EP, in which the group sets aside its electric guitars for a while and offers a look into its quieter side. Álamo: Canciones en Madera, Vol. 1 features acoustic interpretations of two songs from the 2007 album Superficie ("Y Por Ahora" and "Nos Vamos a Econtrar"), a fresh performance of their single "Vive," and three new tunes, "Transformandonos en Sal," "Invencibles," and "Criminal."
