Back in the late '90s, New Orleans native Juvenile was blowing up huge. Already popular in the South, he had several gigantic singles (most notably "Ha" and "Back That Azz Up") that introduced America to his unique and wobbly flow, as well as to Mannie Fresh's futuristic bounce production. The breakout star of Cash Money Records (who'd quickly dethrone Master P and No Limit as King of the South), Juve was also part of the Hot Boys supergroup, alongside BG, Turk, and a young Lil Wayne. Unfortunately, his last big hit ("Slow Motion") dropped in 2002, and in the following decade his profile has dipped significantly. Regardless, he still sounds great on the aptly titled Rejuvenation, his 10th solo album and his best, most complete work in several years. Mannie Fresh is back in the mix, producing five of the 14 tracks, while guest stars include Rick Ross (the lead single, "Power"), Z-Ro & Trae Tha Truth ("Fall Back"), and UTP ("Still Here"). It's a welcome return to form from a Dirty South legend. Don't miss "Mardi Gras" and "Toast to the Good Life."
