[Edit]On her third album, 1996's Outside Eden, Kat Eggleston stretches her range, placing tracks like "Flower of Northumberland" and "S**t" side by side. Eggleston's voice and playing are more than up to the task of making such a pair sound comfortable next to each other, however, and "Go to the Water," "Dreaming In Color" and "No Laughing Matter" make Outside Eden a strong, accomplished collection of contemporary folk.
