[Edit]The industrious Kat Parsons is the star throughout this set, with her vocals always being in the forefront. She contributed nine original pop/rock tunes, plays guitar on two numbers and piano on four others, and dreamt of this project having a small rock-oriented orchestra that includes cello on five numbers, four of which also have a violin. All of the selections on the program (which also includes a fairly straight rendition of "Someone to Watch Over Me") are brief and the entire set clocks in at just a little over 33-minutes, which is a bit chintzy. The music is radio-friendly and quite accessible, with enough variety to keep most listeners interested throughout.
