Details
[Edit]This 10-piece Seattle combo combine revamped tracks from their previous EPs with new recordings on this outstanding debut album. With Chad Gardner’s expressive vocals upfront, KK blend indie and progressive rock on buoyant, worshipful songs like “Bloom,” “All Creatures,” and “Dreams.” Shimmering EDM tunes (“Ache,” “Redemption in Motion”), heroic-sized ballads (“Fix My Eyes,” “Defender”), and stripped-down contemplative pieces (“How Deep”) stretch the band’s limits as they fervently praise the Savior. “Zion” (a tender offering to a lost child) and “139” (a Psalm-inspired meditation on God’s love) stand out for their uncommonly insightful lyrics.
