[Edit]Pianist Kirk Lightsey is captures at a solo concert on this CD. Most of the material (including Tony Williams' "Pee Wee," Thelonious Monk's "Trinkle, Tinkle," and Wayne Shorter's "Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum") had been recorded within the previous few years by Lightsey, but these versions are often quite lengthy (7-11 minutes) and obviously a bit different. In addition, he performs an original and two standards, including "Just One of Those Things." This CD acts as a fine introduction to the high-quality modern mainstream piano of Kirk Lightsey.
