Seriously, the unique marriage of rhythm and melody on the pat waing is fascinating, but perhaps not for every musical palate. Some tracks will be more accessible than others, but all of it is challenging music with many rewards. The recording is particularly fine, capturing the fragile beauty of this complex instrument.
